St Bart’s is seeking a full-time Senior Site Supervisor to join us in Newbury. The role focuses on ensuring a safe, efficient and sustainable school site, overseeing building services and plant room equipment, and supporting a high-quality learning environment.

The postholder leads the site team and assists with security and opening/closing duties. Hours are 37 per week, 52 weeks per year, with shifts from early morning to evening and some weekend work.

Qualifications

• Responsibilities focus on maintenance and safety of school facilities.
• Ability to lead a small site team and coordinate with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and operation of building services (plumbing, BMS, intruder and fire protection).
• Provide leadership in absence of Estates Manager and manage site security duties.
• Support health and safety across the school community.
