Job summary

Caldicot School is seeking two caretakers to join our Site and Operations team. The role is 37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year, with shifts including early mornings and evenings to support bookings and events.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key holder and ensure that buildings and site are secure.
• Undertake minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Support a reactive and planned maintenance programme.
• Ensure compliance with gas, asbestos, legionella, and other regs.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly facility compliance checks.
• Manage site waste and maintain tidiness of premises.
• Oversee on-site maintenance contractors and COSHH compliance.
• Provide porterage services and assist with events as needed.
