Job summary

Castle Phoenix Trust’s Charter Academy is seeking a dedicated Site Services Officer to help ensure our premises are safe, welcoming and well maintained. The role involves quick response to maintenance calls, janitorial duties, monitoring and security tasks, plus driving a minibus with a license held for at least two years.

The post is full-time, 37 hours per week with a split shift pattern (07:00–10:30, 14:30–18:30 Monday to Thursday; 07:00–10:15, 14:30–18:15 Friday).

Qualifications

• Experience of repairs and maintenance in a school or similar environment.
• Ability to drive a minibus and hold a valid license for at least 2 years.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to general maintenance calls and issues.
• Carry out janitorial, monitoring and security duties as required.
• Support premises management and report on conditions and risks.
• Coordinate with the Trust Estates Manager and Head of Estates.
• Contribute to safeguarding and student welfare in line with policy.
