Job summary

Reed Education is partnering with a Birmingham-based secondary school to recruit two Site Supervisors for a long-term, potentially permanent role within the facilities team.

You will join a three-person team, taking responsibility for day-to-day operations, security, maintenance and presentation of the school site, with a rotating early/mid/late shift pattern and a requirement for a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Supervisor or similar
• Understanding of health and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence essential

Responsibilities

• Open and lock school premises; respond to security needs.
• Carry out site inspections and safety checks.
• Undertake routine maintenance and basic repairs.
• Supervise cleaning staff and monitor standards.
• Liaise with contractors and manage deliveries.
• Maintain grounds, entrances and outdoor areas.
• Operate heating and hot water systems.
• Move furniture and replenish stock as needed.
