Job summary

Alde Valley Academy is seeking a dedicated caretaker to join the site team. The role focuses on keeping buildings, grounds and facilities clean, safe and comfortable for all users. You will work full-time, 52 weeks a year, reporting to the Site Manager and sharing site upkeep duties with the team.

Applicants should have site maintenance experience, be reliable with strong timekeeping, and able to build positive relationships within the school community. DBS checks are enhanced.

• Reliable and diligent with good timekeeping.
• Ability to form positive relationships within the school community.

Responsibilities

• Keep buildings, grounds and facilities clean, tidy and free from hazards.
• Maintain site safety and comfort for all users.
• Share responsibility for site operations with the site team, reporting to the Site Manager.
• Follow the school code of conduct and policies on safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality.
