Alde Valley Academy are seeking a committed, friendly and reliable full-time caretaker to join our site team in managing our physical environment and contributing to the long-term operational success of the school. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will share responsibility for ensuring all buildings, grounds and facilities are clean, tidy and free from hazards in order to maintain site safety and comfort for all users.

This is a 52-week contract (with generous holiday entitlement).

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining school facilities, buildings and grounds.
• Honest and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
• Reliable, efficient and punctual in daily tasks.
• Able to form positive relationships within the team and school community.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings, grounds and facilities to keep them clean and hazard-free.
• Assist in managing the site to support safe, comfortable use by all users.
• Follow safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality policies.
• Collaborate with the Site Manager and wider team to uphold site standards.
