Job summary

Ormiston Forge Academy is seeking a Site Assistant to support day-to-day maintenance, security and smooth operation of the academy site. You will help ensure buildings and grounds are safe, clean and well maintained, responding to site issues and performing general caretaking duties.

You will work closely with the Site Manager to provide a welcoming, safe environment for students, staff and visitors, with responsibilities including ICT for record-keeping and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Caretaking or site maintenance experience.
• Practical and hands-on approach to maintenance tasks.
• Confident using ICT for record-keeping and communication.
• Good communicator with colleagues and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day maintenance, security and smooth running of the academy site.
• Respond to site issues and carry out general maintenance and caretaking duties.
• Work with Site Manager to ensure buildings and grounds are safe, clean and well maintained.
• Provide a welcoming, safe environment for students, staff and visitors.
