Job summary

Ormiston Forge Academy is seeking a Site Assistant to support daily maintenance, security and smooth operation of the academy site. You will help ensure buildings and grounds are safe, clean, secure and well maintained, responding to site issues and performing caretaking duties as needed.

Working with the Site Manager and team, you’ll help create a welcoming, safe environment for students, staff and visitors, under the values of resilience, aspiration and respect.

Qualifications

  • Reliable, trustworthy and able to work on their own initiative.
  • Practical and hands-on, with experience of caretaking, site support or general maintenance.
  • Flexible and proactive, willing to respond to a variety of challenges.
  • Confident with ICT for record-keeping and communication.
  • A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships with colleagues and contractors.

Responsibilities
