Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Science Technician or similar practical role is desirable.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and safe working practices.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment, materials and resources for practical science lessons.
• Set up and clear away equipment before and after experiments.
• Ensure laboratories are clean, organised and ready for use.
• Support teachers during practical lessons as required.
• Maintain and safely store laboratory equipment and resources.
• Follow health and safety procedures when handling equipment and materials.
• Report damaged or faulty equipment to relevant staff.
