Job summary

South Lincolnshire Academies Trust is recruiting a Premises Assistant for Spalding Academy. The role covers general repairs and maintenance across the site under the Premises Manager, with a rotational shift and some later hours for school events. A clean driving licence is required, and training will be provided.

Candidates should be team players with a good sense of humour. GLEA Grade 4 salary is £26,864 per annum, with 25 days’ annual leave increasing to 30 days after 5 years’ service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
• A good grasp of DIY is a pre-requisite.
• A clean driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs and maintenance across the school site as directed by the Premises Manager.
• Support school evening events on a rota basis.
• Support emergency call outs during the night/weekends.
• Be a team player with a good sense of humour.
