Marchant Recruitment is seeking a dependable Site Supervisor for a well-established secondary school in Derby. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation, security and presentation of the school site, working closely with the leadership and premises teams to keep buildings and grounds safe, clean and welcoming for students and staff.

The role is practical and varied, requiring hands-on support with routine tasks and the initiative to address unexpected maintenance or security

Qualifications

• Experience in premises, facilities, site management or maintenance.
• Strong practical skills and hands-on approach.
• Good understanding of site safety and risk management.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Professional communication when dealing with contractors and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of the school site.
• Ensure buildings and grounds are safe, secure and well maintained.
• Carry out regular checks of the site and report issues promptly.
• Assist with minor repairs and practical maintenance tasks.
• Monitor spaces and liaise with contractors and staff as needed.
• Open/close procedures and site access control.
