Job summary

Hillside Special School in Sudbury, Suffolk is seeking a reliable Premises Manager to maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors. The role is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) and requires a proactive, flexible approach to ad-hoc duties and responsibilities.

You will be the first point of contact for all services, maintenance and emergencies, ensuring the site is well maintained and safe.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for all services, maintenance and emergency work carried out.
• Be the first point of contact in emergencies (e.g. alarm sounding out of hours) and proactively keep the school site to a high standard.
• An understanding and compassion for pupils is essential; maintain confidentiality, professionalism and a proactive, cheerful approach.
