Job summary

Greenwood Academies Trust seeks a Regional Premises Manager to lead estates across seven Peterborough-area academies, ensuring safe, compliant and effective environments for pupils and staff. You will partner with Principals, Premises Staff and external contractors to deliver first-rate facilities services and drive continuous improvement.

The role operates on a hybrid model, with around three site-visit days and two days working from home, plus travel to other Trust sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in estates, facilities, property or premises management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels.
• Strong customer service skills in a customer-facing role.
• Knowledge of safeguarding requirements within school environments.
• Understanding of statutory health & safety compliance in educational buildings.
• Experience managing maintenance programmes and planned works.
• Proven project management experience delivering improvements.
• Experience procuring and supervising contractors.
• Line management experience and people development.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise across multiple sites.
• Strong IT skills and use of compliance/management systems; SMART campus familiarity.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead estates management across seven academies and support other sites as required.
• Collaborate with Principals, Academy Leadership Teams and contractors to deliver a high-quality estates service.
• Manage maintenance programmes, projects and improvements within time and budget.
• Oversee procurement, contractor management and compliance across sites.
• Line manage and develop small Estates teams and Premises staff.
