Job summary

Humber Education Trust in Kingston upon Hull is seeking a Personal Care Officer & Lunchtime Supervisor. This casual post supports pupils with complex needs across the school, including personal care, feeding, mobility, and supervision during lunchtimes.

The role works within a multidisciplinary team and involves implementing care plans and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment. Experience with SEND is desirable; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Contribute to individual care plans and risk assessments.
• Attend to physical needs including dressing, eating, washing and toileting.
• Work with classroom staff and inter-agency teams to position pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups within the classroom and wider school activities.
• Assist with daily activities, including eating, drinking, and personal care.
• Work with nursing and support staff and other professionals as part of the team.
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment in the support areas.
