Job summary

Lift Noel Park Primary, based in North London, seeks a proactive School Operations Manager to keep the school running smoothly, safely and efficiently. You will oversee operations across finance, facilities, compliance, admin and health & safety while working closely with staff, contractors and families.

You will lead problem solving, improve systems and support HR, recruitment, finance and procurement processes in a busy school environment. Closing date 30 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a busy operational environment such as a school, facilities, project management, hospitality or events.
• Natural problem solver who takes initiative and can lead or support teams.
• Calm and organised under pressure with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the school's administration and operational functions.
• Oversee facilities, estates, catering, cleaning and IT services.
• Ensure high standards of compliance, health & safety and data protection.
• Support HR, recruitment, finance, procurement and staffing processes.
• Manage lettings, communications and wider operational logistics.
• Work closely with central and regional Trust teams.
• Support the school's marketing, website and social media.
• Identify ways to improve systems, processes and efficiency.
