A leading educational institution is seeking a General Office Administrator to provide essential administrative support within their dynamic team. The role requires strong communication skills, flexibility, and a friendly demeanor to assist in the smooth operation of the school office. Basic office experience is essential, with preference for candidates who have worked in school environments.
General Office Administrator - Cranleigh, Surrey
Actual Salary: £23,676 - £24,184 pa
(37.5 paid hours per week over 42 weeks, being term time 39 + 15 days in school closure periods plus holiday pay) with an additional £1,000 Retention Bonus**
(FTE 37.5 hours over 52 weeks £25,543-£26,090, incl. paid holidays & public holidays)
Our client is a Special School, College, Registered Children's Home and Adult Supported Living House with 250 staff contributing to having a positive influence on the lives, communication and wellbeing of children and young people with special needs. Their 70 students are aged 5 to 19 and have needs that include autism, language and communication disorders, ADHD, severe and complex learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.
They are looking for a friendly, motivated and adaptable person to join their business and administration team providing high quality administrative support for a varied range of clerical and administrative tasks for the Trust. Candidates will have to demonstrate flexibility and enthusiasm and enjoy working within a team, with all members of the school community; therefore, excellent communication skills and a friendly, confident and welcoming nature are key for this position. Basic office experience is necessary, and working in a school is advantageous but not essential.
The successful candidates will play a key role in the smooth running of our school office, providing essential support to staff, students, and parents.
