Wycombe Abbey is seeking a dedicated School Nurse / Paramedic to join their Health Centre Team. This role involves working various shifts to provide care and support to students, ensuring their health and wellbeing. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals and be committed to safeguarding children. This is a term-time only position with a permanent contract, offering a supportive work environment.
Wycombe Abbey seeks to appoint a School Nurse / Paramedic to work alongside the Health Centre Team and Health Centre Manager, School Nurses and three visiting doctors, as well as liaise closely with boarding House staff. The Health and Wellbeing Centre provides 24-hour cover, with seven inpatient beds. The School Nurse / Paramedic must be willing to work a variety of shifts; early, late and night shifts or weekend cover.
Contract:Permanent, term-time only contract. The first six months will be a probationary period.
Hours of Work:37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, during Wycombe Abbey term time, including at least one night shift per week.
Salary:Equivalent to RGN Band 5-6 (pro-rata), depending on skills and experience.
