Ardingly College is seeking to appoint a School Nurse (Bank) to be responsible for providing a clinically effective, high quality service of nursing care to pupils and first aid care to all members of the College community.
The successful candidate will be a Registered General Nurse (Level 1) with previous experience of working with children. Applicants should have the ability to relate well to pupils.
This role is open to current Band 6 Nurses or experienced Band 5 nurses seeking their first unsupervised role.
The hours are variable. Shifts are 7.30 to 7.30 day and night, during term time only. There are no set hours of work, and you will be given notice of work available. As a casual member of staff, requirement for your services will depend upon varying level of demand for your services. For any night work the Nurse on duty will be provided with a room on site overnight.
The hourly rate is £20 (depending on experience).
All staff are provided with free meals and have access to gym, swimming pool and other onsite wellbeing activities.
