Job summary

Hollingworth Learning Trust is seeking a School Network Manager within the School based IT Services team, reporting to the Trust ICT Team. You will lead and develop the ICT infrastructure, manage IT technicians, cover helpdesk, disaster recovery and GDPR cybersecurity for four non-trust primaries, and sit on the Support Staff Leadership Team.

The role requires an experienced manager with a strong ICT background, excellent communication, and the ability to deliver training and strategic upgrades

Responsibilities

• Lead, maintain and strategically develop the ICT infrastructure for safe use by pupils and staff
• Ensure systems support teaching, learning and business continuity
• Manage and lead the IT technicians and the School based IT Services team
• Oversee helpdesk resolutions and infrastructure upgrades
• Maintain disaster recovery contingencies and asset registers
• Put in place GDPR and cybersecurity protections
• Manage the provision of technician support to four non-trust primaries
• Provide clear technical guidance to staff and pupils
• Deliver ICT training
• Negotiate with external suppliers and contractors
• Serve as a key member of the Support Staff Leadership Team

Job description

A School Network Manager post in the School based IT Services team of Hollingworth Learning Trust, sitting within the Trust ICT Team. The role leads and develops the ICT infrastructure, manages the IT technicians and covers helpdesk, disaster recovery and GDPR cybersecurity. It also oversees technician support for four non-trust primaries and sits on the Support Staff Leadership Team, on weekday daytime hours. Visa sponsorship is not available, and an enhanced DBS check is required.
