Job summary

The King John School in Essex seeks a School Medical Lead to manage and coordinate the day-to-day health needs and welfare of its students. The role is permanent and full-time, operating 37 hours per week during term time.

Working pattern includes listed hours (8:00am–4:00pm/8:00am–3:30pm) across Monday to Friday, with a focus on safeguarding, health provision and wellbeing support for pupils within a dynamic multi-academy trust environment.

• Toeffectively take charge of the day-to-day health needs of each child within theschool.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day health management for each student.
• Oversee health-related welfare and pastoral duties.
• Support safeguarding and DBS-related checks as part of staff requirements.
