Job summary

Educators in Wales is seeking a General Kitchen Assistant to support school meal service across county borough schools. You will help prepare, present and serve meals while keeping a safe, clean environment for pupils and staff.

The role is term-time only, with hours 10:00–14:30, Monday to Friday. A DBS check is required and training will be provided to obtain Level Two Food Hygiene certification. Salary is £13.45 per hour.

Qualifications

• Assistance in preparing, presenting and serving school meals across multiple sites.
• Training provided for necessary procedures and safety.
• Must have Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, presentation and service of school meals.
