Job summary

Neath Port Talbot Council is seeking a Cook for term-time hours to prepare and cook meals for children across Neath Port Talbot. The role requires knowledge of cooking large and small meal numbers, and adherence to HACCP and food safety regulations.

You will operate under Health & Safety guidelines and will be supported by Access Managed Services. 25 contractual hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexible hours to meet service needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with cooking for children and various meal sizes.
• Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety regulations.
• Familiarity with essential food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for children, for large and small numbers.
• Ensure HACCP compliance and health & safety standards.
• Work within term-time schedule and standards.
