Job summary

Moray Council is seeking a Janitor to maintain primary school facilities, perform minor repairs and support safe building operations across Moray. The role requires reliable, flexible individuals who can work alone or with a team, and travel between sites by car or van.

You will join a rural council service focused on property upkeep, health and safety, and responsive maintenance. PVG clearance is required prior to any formal offer of employment.

Responsibilities

• To undertake janitorial and minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• To ensure the provision of an effective and efficient service within the overall priorities of establishments.
• To undertake operational duties within base establishment.
• To undertake technical duties within base establishments.
• Complying with Health and Safety requirements and ensuring safe working practices.
• Travel between Moray locations to meet operational requirements.
• PVG scheme confirmation required prior to offer of employment.
