The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Facilities Technician for Maybury Primary School to undertake day-to-day janitorial and DIY maintenance across the campus, ensuring responsive support for the school community.

You will assist with moves, basic security tasks, and general building services in line with Council policies. The role includes cleaning, porterage, and flexible duties across several rooms and halls as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance or school environments preferred.
• Ability to carry out basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Good general cleaning and porterage capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment, furniture and fittings maintenance.
• Support building services, security of premises and grounds.
• Carry out cleaning and tidying duties and assist with events.
