Job summary

Aspens Services is a market-leading contract caterer specialising in school food. We’re seeking an ambitious Chef Supervisor to join our team and help elevate the dining experience and establish this as one of the region’s best school catering offers.

You’ll manage costs, supervise the kitchen team, drive menu development and promotions, and ensure health and safety compliance. Hours are 25 per week, 38 weeks per year, Monday to Friday during term time, with no late nights, weekends or Christmas

Qualifications

• Hands-on craft skills with fresh ingredients and high quality food.
• Motivation with supervisory experience to lead a high-performing team.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the managing and improving all controllable costs, including stock, food and labour.
• Supervise, coach, train and inspire your kitchen team to deliver excellence every day.
• Oversee menu development and drive sales through exciting monthly promotions and added-value events.
• Guarantee all standards, systems and essential legislation are met
