The position requires Level 2 Food Safety, strong communication skills, and a passion for promoting healthy eating. The contract includes term-time only hours and 39 weeks, plus cleaning days and safeguarding

Qualifikationen

• Experience in catering with good customer service and strong written and verbal communication.
• Good at communicating and connecting with children and staff.
• Level 2 Food Safety Certificate or understanding of Food Safety.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience with Health & Safety procedures in a commercial setting.
• Understanding of differing needs of young people with SEN.
• Passion for promoting healthy and balanced eating.

Aufgaben

• Support day-to-day kitchen operations including preparation, cooking and cleaning to required standards, ensuring hygiene and safety.
• Thrive in a busy environment and support colleagues to maintain high standards.
• This is an active role with regular lifting and handling of large equipment.
• Follow written documentation for Health & Food Safety legislation and business requirements.
