Job summary

Educators is seeking General Kitchen Assistants to support school meal services across multiple sites in Bridgend, Wales. The role is term-time only with hours between 10:00 and 14:30, Monday to Friday, and duties include meal preparation, presentation, serving and maintaining a safe, clean dining area.

Training will be provided for touchscreen terminals and the DBS check is a requirement. Applicants should hold a Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate and be prepared to cover at various schools

Qualifications

• Level Two Food Hygiene Certificate required.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure is a requirement for the post.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals.
• Lay out dining tables and chairs and operate touch screen terminals where required.
• Cover at schools across the County Borough during term time; training provided.
