Job summary

Thomas Franks Horsham is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the busy, term-time dining operation at our contract in Horsham, West Sussex. The role is 40 weeks per year, predominantly Monday to Friday, with additional benefits including free parking on site and opportunities for training.

Key duties include serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, setting up dining spaces, preparing food to hygiene standards, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and service areas while delivering excellent

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience
• Experience serving customers in a catering establishment
• Teamwork and flexible approach
• Food hygiene certificate preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve clients during breakfast, lunch or dinner service.
• Set up the dining room for service.
• Prepare food following hygiene standards and to the chef's specifications.
• Keep the kitchen and service areas clean and tidy.
• Interact with customers and client staff during service.
• Restock and replenish stocks as required during service.
