Job summary

Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service is seeking a School Catering Assistant to support a busy school meals service. You will work as part of the catering team, helping with food preparation, service and cleaning while maintaining high standards of food hygiene, safety and customer service.

Duties include assisting with basic food preparation and the service of school meals, setting up and clearing counters and dining areas, keeping kitchens and dining spaces clean, following

Maintain clean and hygienic kitchen, equipment and dining areas.
Wash utensils, catering equipment and kitchen items as required.
Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures at all times.
