Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service is recruiting a reliable School Catering Assistant for a primary school in Burgess Hill. This temporary role offers part-time hours from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm with immediate start.

You will support meal preparation and service, help maintain hygiene standards, and work with the catering team to ensure safe, efficient dining operations.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of food and school meals
• Serving meals to pupils and staff
• Setting up and clearing down the dining area
• Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces and food preparation areas
• Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene
• Following all food safety and health & safety procedures
