Job summary

Holroyd Howe is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter/Assistant to join the school kitchen team. You will maintain cleanliness of equipment, assist with basic food prep and stock deliveries, and operate dishwashers while ensuring high sanitation standards in a supportive, food-led education setting.

We value team players with attention to detail and a positive, flexible attitude. Previous kitchen experience or relevant training is beneficial but not essential. Right to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Assist chefs with basic food prep and stock deliveries
• Operate dishwashers and ensure proper sanitation practices
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
• Support the team in daily kitchen operations and setup for service
• Accountability for following and championing allergen controls.
