Havering Schools is seeking a friendly, reliable site assistant to join our team. The role involves general care, maintenance and upkeep of the school site and facilities, plus portering and assisting with security functions.

Hours are 18 per week over 5 days, within term time patterns. Start date ASAP, with a closing date of 16 November 2026 and interview in w/c 23 November 2026. The post is permanent and safeguarding and equal opportunities commitments apply.

We are looking for a new member to join our friendly and supportive site team who are responsible for the general care, maintenance and
upkeep of the school site and facilities, along with portering and assisting with security functions.

Hours of work during term time :
Monday : 09:30 - 12:30
Tuesday : 09:30 - 14.30
Wednesday : 09:30 - 13.30
Thursday : 09:30 - 12.30
Friday : 09:30 - 12.30

School holiday working hours will differ.

Applicants who are shortlisted will have a tour of the school as part of the interview process.
