Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is recruiting an Inclusion Mentor to join the Specialist Teaching Service. You will work with schools to strengthen inclusive practice for learners with cognition and learning, SEMH and communication needs.

The role involves mentoring staff, capacity-building across schools, and providing practical strategies and resources to support ordinarily available provision. Ability to work under pressure is essential.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification relevant to role (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Experience as teaching assistant or similar role supporting learners

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach school staff to strengthen inclusive practice
• Lead capacity-building work with schools and provide practical strategies and resources
• Support early intervention and SEND provision to meet diverse learner needs
• Collaborate with schools and professionals to influence practice at earlier stages
