Job summary

TimePlan Education Group LTD are seeking an ICT Technician for an outstanding secondary school in London to start immediately on an ongoing assignment. You will manage school hardware, software and network systems and provide strong ICT support for curriculum and admin needs.

The role requires prior school-based ICT experience, the ability to hit the ground running, and to work closely with facilities staff. DBS checks and references will be required.

Qualifications

• Prior ICT/IT support experience in a school setting.
• Ability to manage hardware, software and school network systems.
• Experience providing ICT support to curriculum and administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage computer hardware, software and systems within the school and provide technical support to the school network.
• Advise on purchasing appropriate equipment to meet identified needs.
• Identify and install hardware and software to develop school systems with changing technology.
• Maintain an effective helpdesk system with logged tasks and timely feedback.
• Assist in resolving network problems and maintaining IT systems for teaching and admin use.
• Ensure ICT hardware and software are available for pupils and staff when needed.
