Job summary

Clear IT Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced IT Technician based in Bethnal Green, London, to join the school’s ICT services team. You will support staff and pupils, maintain ICT equipment, and participate in a preventative maintenance programme.

The role covers software installation, equipment setup for classroom use, and ensuring secure, well-documented ICT systems. An Enhanced DBS check is required to work in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Understanding of LAN and network technologies and Microsoft operating systems (client and server).
• Great for Mac OS familiarity and applications.
• Solid knowledge of PC hardware, able to install, configure, and troubleshoot components and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the support and development of ICT provision across the school.
• Provide a wide range of technical support for staff and pupils.
• Maintain daily work log and report tasks to department members.
• Set up equipment for curricular and extra-curricular activities such as assemblies and clubs.
• Liaise with third-party technical support and supervise on-site visits.
• Monitor network security and data-security considerations.
