Job summary

Philosophy Education LTD. in London is seeking a dedicated HR Officer to join a busy secondary school's HR team. This full-time role offers year-round work with an ASAP start, supporting recruitment, payroll, policies, and staff administration.

You will liaise with line managers, maintain records (SCR/SWR), oversee onboarding, inductions, contracts, and changes, and ensure safeguarding compliance. Prior school HR experience is essential.

Qualifications

• School HR experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Safer Recruiting guidelines.
• Experience with SCR and SWR reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, staffing, policies and payroll processing.
• Maintain staff records and HR information systems (Arbor).
• Administer payroll and staff contracts, offers, and inductions.
• Provide start-to-end HR support to line managers and senior staff.
• Assist with TUPE, grievances, dismissals and changes to terms.
