Job description

Job Title: School HR Assistant (5 days per week / Full time)

Location: South Birmingham

Start Date: June 2025

Salary: £110 - £150 per day, depending on experience

About the Role

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream secondary school in South Birmingham that has recently achieved a GOOD OFSTED rating. The school offers high-quality education, excellent media and sports facilities, and a strong record of students progressing to further education or employment.

We are seeking a HR Assistant for the school. Candidates with school-based admin experience or similar office backgrounds will be considered.

Candidate Requirements
  • Level 2 equivalent ICT or Administration qualifications or relevant work experience
  • GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent
  • Experience in an administrative role within an educational setting
Desirable Qualifications
  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent (e.g., 2 A levels)
  • Level 5 CIPD qualification and membership
