Job summary

St Leonards School in St Andrews is seeking a Grounds Supervisor to maintain the school's gardens, sports pitches and grounds to high standards, and to manage an outsourced contractor with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires HNC in Horticulture and PA1/PA6 spraying certificates, a full driving licence, and experience in grounds maintenance. PVG membership is required; permanent, full-time position with 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain gardens, grounds, sports pitches and pathways to high standards.
• Oversee outsourced Grounds contractor and monitor SLAs.
• Plan and allocate duties based on weather and events.
• Ensure safe use, storage and maintenance of equipment and machinery.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and PVG requirements.
