Job summary

Sodexo Group at Highworth Warneford School in Swindon is hiring a Food Service Assistant. This part-time, term-time role supports daily food service, food preparation, and keeping dining areas clean.

The shift pattern is Mon-Thu 10:45–14:00 and Fri 11:00–14:00. Pay is £12.71 per hour, with 16 hours per week, and the position is permanent. We offer on-site training, a supportive team, and a focus on hygiene and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous catering or food service experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
• Maintain clean, safe and hygienic kitchen and dining areas
• Replenish food displays and service counters as required
• Support deliveries and store supplies appropriately
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures
• Provide a friendly and helpful service to customers, colleagues or visitors
