Witham Hall School is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day finances, including fee billing, payroll and pensions administration. This role works closely with the Bursar on budget monitoring and management accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and strong internal controls.

The successful candidate will hold an accounting qualification (AAT/CIPP or equivalent) or demonstrate substantial relevant experience, with strong IT and Excel skills and a track record in account

Qualifications

• AAT/CIPP or equivalent accounting qualification, or substantial relevant experience.
• Strong accounting knowledge and payroll systems experience.
• Excellent IT skills and ability to reconcile accounts.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day management of the school’s finances, including fee billing, credit control, payroll, pensions administration, purchasing, banking and cash-flow management.
• Work closely with the Bursar on budget monitoring and preparation of management accounts.
• Liaise with the auditors during the production of annual statutory accounts.
