Job summary

Witham Hall School seeks an experienced Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day finances including fee billing, payroll, pensions administration, purchasing, banking, and cash-flow management.

The post holder will work with the Bursar on budget monitoring and management accounts, and liaise with auditors for annual statutory accounts. DBS checks are required as part of safeguarding. Applicants encouraged to apply early.

Qualifications

• AAT or CIPP qualification, or substantial relevant experience.
• Strong accounting knowledge and experience with accounting and payroll systems.
• Excellent IT skills, with high proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finances: fee billing, credit control, payroll, pensions administration, purchasing, banking and cash-flow management.
• Work with the Bursar on budget monitoring and the preparation of management accounts.
• Liaise with auditors during the production of the annual statutory accounts.
