Job summary

Education Partnership Trust seeks a Site Supervisor for The Heights Blackburn, an alternative provision school. The role focuses on keeping the site clean, secure, and ready for use, with responsibility for first-line repairs and routine maintenance.

You will also maintain compliance records (legionella and health and safety checks) and oversee building security and cleaning duties. The full-time 37-hour week is negotiable, with start date ASAP.

Qualifications

• Site supervisory experience
• Routine in-house inspections, tests and maintenance

Responsibilities

• Keep all school areas prepared and ready for use, including cleaning specified areas and overseeing whole-school cleaning
• Take responsibility for building security, including opening and closing the school for the day, meetings, maintenance and emergency services
• Maintain school equipment
• Carry out caretaking, DIY and first-line repairs and maintenance
• Carry out routine in-house inspections, tests and maintenance
• Keep records to ensure legal compliance, such as legionella and health and safety checks
• Report concerns to the Head Teacher or School Business Manager
