Job summary

Thomas Middlecott Academy, part of the David Ross Education Trust, is seeking a permanent full-time Caretaker to keep the site safe, compliant and well‑maintained for students, staff and visitors.

You will manage site operations, contractor work, statutory testing, health and safety, building maintenance, security and asset management, working with the Principal and senior leadership team to provide a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience or skills in maintenance duties.
• Competent at basic building repairs and maintenance.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep the site safe and legal for students, staff and visitors.
• Site management and contractor control.
• Statutory testing and health and safety management.
• Building maintenance, security and asset management.
• Work with the Principal and senior leadership team to maintain a well‑kept learning environment.
