Sir William Burrough Primary School is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the day-to-day management of our school site. You will ensure buildings, grounds and facilities are well maintained, safe and fit for purpose, supporting teaching and learning.

The role covers site operations, security, maintenance, health and safety compliance, contractors, budget control and line-management of premises staff.

Qualificações

• Experience managing facilities, estates or site operations.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety compliance and building maintenance.
• Experience leading and motivating teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the school's facilities and premises function.
• Ensure the site is safe, secure, clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Manage site security, including keyholding responsibilities and emergency response procedures.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Supervise premises staff and coordinate workload across the team.
• Manage contractors and outsourced services, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, fire safety and statutory requirements.
• Oversee room layouts, event setups, porterage services and site logistics.
• Support budget control and procurement of facilities-related services and materials.
• Maintain positive working relationships with staff, visitors, contractors and stakeholders.
