Job summary

St Philip Neri with St Bede Catholic Voluntary Academy in Mansfield is seeking a Site Manager to oversee our school facilities. This full-time, permanent role spans a 37-hour week, with a split between morning and evening duties, and is essential to keep the site safe, secure, and operating at its best.

You will lead the cleaning team, coordinate lunchtime support, and work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure access control and smooth operations across the site.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check and other pre-employment checks including online searches are required.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to manage school access, support lunchtime logistics, and oversee the cleaning team.
• Problem-solving & maintenance: Take ownership of repairs, contractor management, and compliance tasks, always with an eye on health and safety.
• Facilities management: Keep systems like alarms, lighting, and heating running smoothly, while ensuring our site is pristine and welcoming.
• Development & growth: Learn new skills, share your knowledge, and help us achieve excellence in everything we do.
