Job summary

Sheffield Girls' is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead our school estate in Sheffield, ensuring a safe, secure and efficient environment for students and staff. You will manage site operations, oversee security, maintenance, cleaning, fleet, and capital projects while leading a team of supervisors, officers and drivers.

The role requires IWFM Level 4 or equivalent, NEBOSH/IOSH training, and a First Aid certificate, with desirable Legionella/Asbestos awareness and Fire Warden

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Facilities Management (e.g. IWFM Level 4 or equivalent), or a willingness to gain qualification within 6 months.
• Health & Safety Training (e.g. NEBOSH or IOSH).
• First Aid Certificate.
• Legionella Awareness, Asbestos Awareness and Fire Warden (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Site security, premises and grounds management.
• Maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Cleaning operations and enterprise activities.
• Management of the school vehicle fleet.
• Health and safety compliance across the site.
• Supporting the delivery of capital projects and renovations.
