Your new role
The School Facilities Manager plays a vital role in the day‑to‑day running of the school, ensuring that the site operates safely and effectively at all times. The role operates on a shift basis, with two different shift patterns, and includes responsibility for responding to on‑call call‑outs when required.
You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly environment; carrying out minor repairs; managing site security; and overseeing on‑site contractors, ensuring facilities are fit for purpose and ready to support learning.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in premises, facilities, or building management, with a strong understanding of health and safety procedures and site security. You will be practical, organised, and proactive, able to carry out general repairs, safely move equipment, and follow instructions relating to equipment and materials.
A full driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role, as you will be required to travel and respond to on‑call call‑outs when necessary.

This is a full-time position with shift work, starting as soon as possible. Shift 1 is Monday to Thursday, 6:30am–2:30pm, and Friday, 6:30am–2:00pm; Shift 2 is Monday to Thursday, 10:30am–6:30pm, and Friday, 11:00am–6:00pm.
