Are you passionate about creating a good environment for our students to learn in?

We’re looking for a dedicated School Facilities Manager to join our hard working team at Winton Community Academy.

The role of the School Facilities Manager is to ensure that the school functions safely and effectively on a daily basis. The role is key to ensuring that school facilities are available and fit for purpose at all times.

Within this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the site is clean and tidy, items are moved to the appropriate place, minor repairs are made and contractors are effectively monitored whilst on site.
This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of young people.

About our school:

At Winton Community Academy, our students are diverse, exciting and talented – and the same is true of our staff. We put huge emphasis on professional development, most of it in-house, and are proud of the high number of good and outstanding teachers who work in our school. We are also noted for our ‘can do’ attitude. We are keen, always, to encourage new and/or young staff to make their mark as soon as they are ready.

We are proud to serve the communities around Andover in the centre of Hampshire, a short commute from Winchester, Salisbury and many picturesque Hampshire villages. Ofsted judged us as a ‘Good academy’ in January 2018 and with our passionate Principal, Rebecca Clark in place, we are looking to build upon our strengths and develop into a truly outstanding place to learn and teach.

Who is Lift Schools?

We’re a diverse and inclusive network of schools with one clear mission; to provide an excellent education to every child - in every classroom, every day. And we do this across each of our 57 schools. As with our students, we want our team to be empowered to do their best work, supported by the best leadership they’ve ever had.

We acknowledge and appreciate the exceptional efforts of everyone here in making this an incredible organisation.

We offer you:

  • Comprehensive training: Access a wide range of developmental training to boost your career.
  • Generous benefits: From your pension plan to healthcare and financial support, we've got you covered.
  • Lifestyle perks: Enjoy discounted gym memberships, travel deals, and even electric vehicle incentives.

Ready to apply? Get in touch here. We can’t wait to hear from you.

The role is due to commence from September 01 2025, or sooner. This is a full time, permanentposition.

Closing date: 07 July 2025
