Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is helping a busy school in Ealing, West London to recruit a dependable Facilities Assistant. You will support the premises team with routine site operations, minor maintenance and general facilities duties to ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have facilities or caretaking experience, a hands-on approach, and a good awareness of health and safety. An enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Previous facilities, caretaking or general maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Completing routine site inspections and reporting maintenance issues.
• Carrying out minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks.
• Helping prepare rooms and facilities for meetings and school events.
• Monitoring site cleanliness and reporting health and safety concerns.
• Assisting with deliveries, furniture moves and storage organisation.
• Supporting site security procedures and contractor access.
