Job summary

Corsham Primary School, part of the Pickwick Academy Trust, is seeking a proactive School Facilities Manager to take overall responsibility for the management, maintenance and security of the school site and its facilities. You will work with the Headteacher and Trust Head of Facilities to ensure premises are safe, compliant and fully support the school’s aims.

The role involves hands‑on caretaking, overseeing repairs and contractors, health and safety checks, and keeping detailed records.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and secure the school site and facilities.
• Oversee repairs, contractors, health and safety compliance, security systems and statutory checks.
• Maintain accurate records using the Trust’s compliance systems.
• Hands‑on caretaking duties and support sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure grounds and buildings remain clean, secure and welcoming.
